Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. Modern Way to Cook

Submitted by Troy Cuto - 10/12/2020

This induction range is awesome. Anything with liquid is cooked faster because induction cooking heats up water much quicker. The touch buttons only require light touch to activate. The air fryer is also nice because a large quantity of food can be cooked at the same time. Wish this range would come with the air fryer rack as standard feature instead of an additional $50 option.

Induction is a revolution!

Submitted by AP SD - 10/11/2020

We bought this a few weeks ago, had it installed and started cooking! Make sure your pans are magnetic or they will not work, our frying pans didn't work. Our neighborhood doesn't have gas in the kitchen, but induction gives us instant heat and instant control over the temperature like you would have with gas, and it's safer for kids as it doesn't create heat on the stove top. Three of us on our block have all switched to induction in the last few months, can't imagine going back. Our stove did make it our 40A breaker pop once using the broiler and the boil water setting on one burner, but it hasn't happened again.Oven is great, consistent heat and convection allows cooking of multiple trays that previously would have had to do individually.

Even cooking and of course air frying!

Submitted by HappyinFlorida - 10/9/2020

I choose this range due to the ability to cook evenly and quickly on the stove top, and for the air fryer. I can cook 2 dozen or more wings at once unlike the standalone air fryers.

Submitted by Bobbie52 - 10/7/2020

This stove arrived Sept. 14, 2020. I was so anxious to cook on it after the month waiting ,on it. I turned on the oven and before it reached the cook temp it started makind a horrible noise. Thought we got it fixed but when I turned the oven on it made that horrible noise again. I am waiting to get it fixed but now the left front burner is doing something weird. Not so sure I am liking this due to all the problems.

Fabulous Kitchen Upgrade

Submitted by Christina M - 10/3/2020

I have only had this stove for two weeks so far, but it is great! I upgraded from a glasstop electric stove. The induction is very fast to heat up a pan and so easy to keep clean! The oven is still a learning process, as I've never had convection options before. It seems to bake very evenly and I am excited to roast things this fall! So far I have been very impressed with everything.

Awesome Stove!

Submitted by jodeos - 9/28/2020

I got the stove a couple of weeks ago and love it. The oven has tons of different cooking modes so you can pick the appropriate mode for what you are cooking. Air Fry gets stuff really crispy. The induction burners are also wonderful. They heat pots/pans so fast; never seen anything like it. And they provide really good incremental heat control. Oh, and it's really attractive in stainless.

The induction range is wonderful, but oven is super noisy

Submitted by MandyAtlien - 9/25/2020

I bought this stove a few weeks ago. The induction range is spectacular. You can heat a tea kettle in literally 1-2 minutes. I also like the auto-sizing feature and the auto-disconnection when cookware is removed. My only issue, which is major, is that the oven make a very loud rattling noise when in use. I am atill awaiting a Frigidaire technician to investigate this issue...

Close to Perfect

Submitted by Mick2 - 9/25/2020

My wife and I absolutely love cooking on this induction range. Glass top stays mostly clean and for the occasional spill it cleans up with very little effort. Anyone who isn't using induction cooking is really missing out. Would give this range a 5+ except for where Frigidaire chose to place the adjustable legs. They are way too forward on the front and way too back on the rear. This means you see the front legs and find them with your bare feet and the range will NOT push back enough (due to the anti-tip bracket design) in the rear. So the range sits out past the front of our cabinets (unlike the two prior stoves we have had) and it sits about an inch from the wall in the back. This could have been easily prevented by Frigidaire (Electrolux) without a lot of thought or effort.

Total failure

Submitted by Mitchstoveless - 9/24/2020

Was very excited about the range after waiting for two months to have it delivered (covid). Worked great for two weeks then an ALARM went off and stopped working. I checked the code and said it was a ™€œcommunication error™€. i did everything the manual said for restarting. Tried in vain calling Frigidaire for another two weeks to get it serviced under obvious warranty. I even tried calling Electrolux, or anyone in corporate. Couldn™€™t find a single human to answer my calls. The recording gave me a number to a service center that doesn™€™t do warranty service for Frigidaire, they had no idea why their number was being given out. So in frustration I opened it up to see if I could find any loose wires. Jiggled the wires, checked connectors. All seemed connected. Bought it at Lowe™€™s, they also we™€™re of no help. So returned the stove defeated.

I purchased my new range 3 weeks ago and am very happy with it. I only wish I had been given the option to purchase the air fry basket and tray when I purchased my induction range. I am ordering one now! I had an induction range for 10 years prior to this one. The power boost feature is amazing and the inclusion of air fry feature is awesome. Just love it!,

30™€ Induction Oven

Submitted by Ric68 - 9/22/2020

I purchased the Induction Oven with Airfry a few weeks back. I love the induction cooktop. It heats much faster than a conventional electric oven. Yes certain pans will not work without a stainless steel plate under the non magnetic pan. I did have a problem with the oven the first time I tried to use the convection feature. A loud rattling started while preheating. I finally pulled out the oven to find the upper back metal panel was the problem. I bent it a bit and added a few screws and it was fixed. Still I don™€™t think that should happen with a brand new appliance. Overall I like all the features this oven provides.

Broke less than one day after receiving

Submitted by Susankaym - 9/9/2020

Only had the oven for one day when it completely stopped working. It took 5 days to get in touch with customer service and it took 14 days after that for a service company to come out to look at the range and to let me know that the main board was out and that it would take at least 2 months to get another one in. Worst purchase I have ever made.

Easy to use and accurate temperatures

Submitted by Prismsid - 9/9/2020

I love the cooktop and the oven. They are easy to use and provide consistent, accurate heat. I love the fact that you can bring something to a boil in just a few minutes and then ,immediately turn it down to a simmer and keep it there as long as you want. No more sticking and scorching.I'm disappointed in the air fryer. When I've triedto cook breaded stuff the oven gets teriibly messy. I send more time cleaning the oven than cooking the food. It would be nice if Frigidaire would provide better coking instructions (or a cookbook) for the air fryer.

Submitted by Bunkarama - 9/7/2020

I am very happy with my new Frigidaire induction range. I am still anazed how quickly it boils a pan of water for my ramen and pasta. I am using Fissler pans that are made for induction cooking and love how well they work with this range. I had been using a portable induction plate that has a shut-off timer, temperature selection and programmed settings like Stir Fry, Deep Frying, Soup etc. Frigidaire if you are listening: why not add these feature your next update?I made a Dutch baby in the oven and it turned out winderfully! Would be nice to have the timer turn off the stove and/or oven.

Submitted by Sheneedsoven1 - 9/4/2020

We bought this range for the induction feature which is great. It™€™s a bit of a learning curve getting the heat levels figured out for preheating skillet or scrambling eggs. However, there is a problem using the oven. The first time it was turned on, a horrible squealing noise came from the control panel. Repair man discovered screws were missing from the back panel and fan apparatus needs replacement. It™€™s been 2 weeks, still waiting for parts. Hope the repair parts ship quicker than the range which took two months.

Submitted by BrianP75 - 9/2/2020

We just bought this stove and few weeks ago, and it is fantastic. Induction is the best cooking I've experienced: quick, safe and even. The oven as well. If recipe calls for 15 minutes, start looking at your food around 12 minutes because of its efficiency. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Arrived defective. Will update review as I get a new unit.

Submitted by JK68W - 8/29/2020

Unit arrived with 2 defective cooktops; front-right isn't detecting my pans at all and front-left cooktop only works on the rear-half of the cooktop. I used appropriate size and induction compatible pans to test the cooktops, as both of them works on the 2 rear cooktops. Very disappointing, since I waited a month to receive this unit. Tried contacting Frigidaire customer support but they aren't operating on weekends. Luckily my sales rep from Lowe's contacted me and I was able to schedule return and redelivery of the same unit, although I have to wait 2 months to receive a new unit. Defective units can happen but it's just frustrating that I have to wait 3 months to receive potentially a full working unit. I will revise my review when I receive a new unit, but as it stands, I can't give it more than 1 star.

Induction cooking exceeds my expectations

Submitted by CindyPDX - 8/29/2020

I have had the range for about a week and I love it! We had a gas range prior to the induction range and i was a bit skeptical that I would like it. I love cooking on gas because the heat control is so responsive, but was pleasantly surprised that the induction cooktop responds in a very similar way. Induction is SO much better than standard electric ranges...and is on par with gas cooking. Its pretty fantastic! In addition, the range has an air fry option that my 17 year old loves! His chicken strips and french fries now rival restaurant quality fried food, and has replaced his need to go out for lunch. With distance learning in our future, I love that he will be motivated to make any number of meal options himself during his lunch break. With that said, there are some pros and cons with this range:Pros:Induction cooking- Water boils in 1 1/2 minutes - that is crazy fast 7 wonderful!- Low burner setting is truly a 'keep warm' feature - no low simmering that dries out the food like I get with gas- you can use any sized pot on any burner - only heats where the pot sits- easy to clean stove while cooking - keeps messes from baking onOven:- Air fry option is great (not sure if it is really different than convection, but my son thinks it turns out crispier)- Convection bake and roast work well too.- three racks is super helpfulCons:Induction:- The mid-level cook temperatures are not heating as i would expect - the level 5 doesn't cook like medium heat should...medium is always 6... big different between 6 & 7 - My family complains about the burner control panel - touch control is not as responsive as you'd think - often takes 3-4 tries to get it to register the touch.Oven:- oven racks do not slide out very easy. I hope that gets better as it wears in a bit.All in all - we are very happy with this range and feel it is as fun to cook on as our gas range was. We look forward to exploring more of what it can do.

Love the induction stove top

Submitted by Jkeathome - 8/27/2020

I have been using my new range for 30 days and I love it. What I really have always wanted was a gas range, but can't have one because we don't have access to the gas. I can cook something, it be done and turn off the burner and the heat is off. Regular electric ranges burn the food if you don't take them off the burner. And I have wanted an air fryer for quit sometime, but have no extra space for another electric appliance on my counter. Having the air fryer in the oven is fun and makes delicious not fried, greasy food.

Not a good start.

Submitted by MrGuySirMan - 8/25/2020

I bought this range on June 28th, had two changes to the delivery date, and finally received it on August 8th. It worked wonderfully for cooking 3 meals, and then after sitting idle for 8 hours, woke us up at 2am (8 hours since last touched). Was displaying a comm error code and beeping loudly. Resetting did nothing, and an inspection of the boards and wiring revealed no visual problems. Now I've been without a range at all for 2-1/2 weeks while waiting for repair. The only reason I didn't immediately return it was we really wanted an induction range, and nobody local has anything decently priced in stock. Maybe I'll end up loving this, but so far it's a very expensive decoration.

I really like the induction stovetop range! I almost didn't do it because I thought I needed to change all of my pots and pans, but then I used a magnet to see if the bottoms were magnetic and I only had 3 that didn't work and 2 of them needed to be changed anyway. I love how fast I can boil water, it really makes a difference. I actually haven't used the air fry very much yet, but have enjoyed the convection part of the oven. I love how the oven heats up much faster than my old oven. Overall, I've been very happy with this purchase!

Great safety features

Submitted by KevinJ108 - 8/19/2020

We™€™ve had our new range for about a week now and so far my wife and I really love it. I really appreciate all of the safety features. You can™€™t even turn the cooktop on unless there is a pot or pan on it, and if the pan is removed the cooktop will automatically shut itself off over a short period of time. Another nice thing is just how cool the top stays. Basically this thing uses copper and magnets to heat the pan without actually heating the cooktop surface. When you remove a pan the top is still warm, but not dangerously hot like my old oven. This makes me feel much better since I have a curious 1 year old reaching for everything. Personally I do not do a whole lot of baking but my wife likes to make gluten free home made biscuits. The last batch she made was absolutely perfect. Our old oven would cook the outside of the biscuits pretty well but the insides never seemed quite finished. Pre heating is pretty quick with the oven and the stove top, much faster than with a traditional range. There is a slight learning curve when getting used to the new range but after a few meals it all comes together nicely. I do recommend thumbing through the manual, which takes very little time to do, to get yourself acquainted with all of the features. Last thing I would like to say is that the clock set itself. We plugged in the range and the clock was just...correct. Haha, I didn™€™t expect that. Anyways, I highly recommend this oven to anyone in the market to upgrade!

Great Features but Quality Control was poor

Submitted by qdrake - 8/19/2020

I had to call for service on day two. Not the way you want to start a relationship with any appliance company. I believe the range is loaded with features that make cooking so much easier and faster. The induction range boiled water the first day in no time and makes cleaning up spills or spatters super easy. So the induction range that we had for one day and now can't use. We used the oven once and that worked well. Out of the blue at 2am the next day in the morning the unit started beeping with the number 2 in the upper right induction control and the number 0 in the lower right induction control. Pushing on/off in the induction control will stop it for less than a minute. his numerous times.I unplugged the range and shut it off throughout the later morning. Did that, soon as power was back on started beeping within a minute. A servicer is coming tomorrow it's been a week thus far and hopefully the range will be resolved then. This is unfortunate situation. Looking forward to this working out.

Brand new induction range that we had for two days and now can't use. Never even used the oven yet. Out of the blue on day 2 the unit started beeping with the number 2 in the upper right induction control and the number 0 in the lower right induction control. Pushing on/off in the induction control will stop it for less than a minute. Called dealer, suggested to shut off breaker for 30 minutes. Did that, soon as power was back on started beeping within a minute. Tried this numerous times. Dealer gave me the "Authorized" local service business. Can't even come to look at it for 3 weeks!!! Obviously they will just diagnose the problem and have to order parts, who knows how long that will take. So 2 days and now I have nothing to cook with for what one month maybe two months? Also tried calling Frigidaire and could not get through, just kept getting circled back to the same menu for hours at a time. That is totally unsatisfactory.

My primary burner broke within a week of purchasing this product. The oven works great, and the other burners work great as well, but not having your primary burner available is definitely a big issue. Caution: while the burners work, they do make a slight rattling noise when using induction. I've gotten used to it, but was initially concerned about the unit.I've tried contacting Customer Service directly, I've been unsuccessful through my three 40 minute calls so far. I'm hopeful the entire unit can get fixed, as it does have the potential to be a great unit.

More specifically, the lowest setting can be too low, and the next available setting too high. Our workaround has been to use an element that is smaller than our pot. We are using induction compatible stainless steel cookware (Made by Design for Target) that has otherwise performed well with range. This range needs more settings at the low end of the power spectrum, or some sort of continuous variable power control.

Stove top heats quickly and cooks evenly. Oven temps run perfectly and cooks evenly! It is a sharp looking oven and control panel is easy to use.

Poor assembly/QC - induction burners not installed correctly

Submitted by Repaired it myself - 8/9/2020

I saw a review where someone said that the induction hobs aren't centered under the glass markings. I had the same issue and had to resolve it myself.Good stove, poor assembly/quality controlBought the stove on May 22 2020 and picked it up from the store on June 4th. Couple weeks later I logged an issue with my stove where the induction burners were only working on the back one third of the area. First time I logged the ticket it was assigned to a warranty support company in London Ontario. Didn't hear anything from them so I called that company and found out they don't support Kitchener. Had to call back to Frigidaire (multiple attempts, on hold for long periods, even logged a ticket thru the website) and they assigned the ticket to Trans Global. Tech came a week later and couldn't figure it out, said he'd get back to me. That was almost two weeks ago. Tonight I looked at the issue and discovered that the assembly of the tray inside the top wasn't done correctly - two screws that are supposed to attach to the stove weren't put in the proper space - they were aligned with large circular holes that were about the size of a quarter and no way they would have held the top in place. The proper location for the inner tray was about 2" towards the front of the stove (poor quality of assembly and quality control). I moved the tray to the proper location, put the screws in and aligned the burners. Not pleased with Frigidaire/Electrolux service considering this stove is part of the Gallery collection. The warranty support was essentially useless. I bought the stove based on my previous stove being Frigidaire and customer reviews. As for the features...(now) the induction burners work better, heating up the pan more evenly. Definitely recommend induction over anything else for the speed and control. The "true convection" works as expected. Have used the air fryer multiple times successfully with no issues. Giving the stove 4 stars for the functionality (now that I fixed the issue with the induction top). Lost a star based on the poor assembly, customer support, and inability of warranty repair tech not solving the issue (and still hasn't figured it out two weeks later). For owners of Frigidaire glass top stoves....check to see if your elements heat the entire pan. More than likely yours is probably assembled incorrectly too.

Really great .... exceeding our expectations

We bought this about a month ago and really like the induction cooking vs. our old ceramic top electric stove. If you put a pan on the stove and put some butter in it, the butter starts to melt almost instantly vs. on the old stove, we would turn it to high and then go do something else while we waited for the pan to warm up.Also, the controllability of the heat is amazing... if you turn it from 7 to 2, the pan INSTANTLY cools down from a boil to low simmer. The one thing I do notice is that we bought a set of cookware which is aluminum with a stainless steel insert on the bottom, so it is induction ready. BUT, we had a couple of stainless steel (magnetic) pans, and we get a lot more heat out of the fully stainless steel pans. But the others do work fine... just not quite as high of a heat as the solid pans. The other thing we really like is the quick pre-heat. The oven pre-heats twice as fast as our old one did. And we got the air fryer version which we have only tried once. We did buy the Frigidaire air fryer rack, and do think that is well worth the $50 if you want to do air fry. The photo of the product is lousy, but it is a full size oven rack that slides right in and the fryer basket lifts out of that "frame" so it is nearly the full size of the oven and holds a LOT of food. All told, because it was not practical for us to have a gas stove, this is definitely the next best thing... and darn close to a similar experience... as cooking with gas.
