Not a great experience

I have owned a number of different dishwashers from a variety of brands. In this case we ordered all GE Cafe appliances for our new-build home. We have been disappointed with this dishwasher. It was professionally installed. We had to wait along time for this appliance to arrive (I know, supply chain). There was a small dent in the Stainless Stell Front door panel that was not apparent until the blue shipping film was removed. I called within 24 hours to seek a repair and they said that it was not covered but here is 75 dollars (please go away). OK so I took the money since i was not willing to pay for a replacement panel on a BRAND NEW appliance. Oh, by the way, the kick panel would not attach properly but I had someone find a way to reattach it. There was too much insulation getting in the way of the panel. The added insulation does make the appliance very quiet, which is why we were looking at this particular model. But that is not the reason for the review. The bits and pieces are not very well made. I have a wheel assembly on the front left corner of the lower left basket that keeps falling off when the basket is rolled off. I called service to see if they can help. It took long time to talk with them after discovering the Web site is designed to run you around in circles. Very distressing. For the money I paid I would expect better quality. So far the dishes do get cleaned, but the third rack (a feature that we have come to love on dishwashers) is not as useful as the ones on other brands. I have not tried to use the wifi interface yet, but I am having difficulty hooking it up on the other Cafe appliances that I purchased. The main complaint that we have is that for an allegedly high end appliance, it does not seem to come with the quality we had expected.
